Top quality pure white natural quartz crystal chipping. The product is dried and screened to remove dust making it clean and suitable for internal decor including flower arranging, photographic assignments and event decoration.
The opaque glassy nature of this product renders it light reflective and highly resistant to algae growth making this the product of choice for edging of patios and for roof terraces especially when paired with pastel shades of soft yellow and pink blossom.

Application:
Staging and Promotion:
Aspen crystal provides for a sparkling substrate which is opaque to light but provides a bright reflective background for window displays and photo-shoots.

Exposed Concrete and Terrazzo:
This product is ideal for surface polishing in cement based and resin flooring and worktop projects. Whilst Aspen Crystal is generally supplied dry please state when ordering if this is a specific requirement.

Home & Garden:
Use as a decorative mulch plant topping both internally and externally.
As a natural quartz it is inert it can be used in or near to stocked ponds, and will not alter the pH of soils.
When used as a garden mulch, to increase the service life of the product and help prevent weed growth we would recommend the use of a weed suppressant membrane between the soil or sub base and the glass.

Memorial Top Dressing:
Many clients purchase this product to top dress a loved ones grave. Generally two packs will adequately cover a traditional kerb set, whilst a single pack will probably be adequate for either topping up an existing covering, or for a modern memorial. The choice between this size and our larger 12-18mm Aspen is purely personal.
In particular among Indian, Chinese and Japanese cultures the white colour may be used as a sign of respect.
