Coverage: When used as groundcover a 15 pack pallet will cover approximately 4Sqm at 40mm depth, a full 60 pack pallet (900kg) will cover approximately 14Sqm at 40mm depth.

Concrete Batching: The product can be used for exposed decorative concrete mixes. As a direct replacement for builders gravel, 15x15kg packs plus the addition of a suitable sand and cement will produce up to 0.2mcube of concrete. When used for exposed polished flooring and worktops the quantity of granite will depend on the desired aesthetics and mix design.

Whilst being durable, concretes made with granite will require more work than marble or limestone aggregates to produce a polished finish. However, exposed (brushed) finishes often refered to as "grano" will have good anti-skid properties

Description and Application: This extremely durable stone is resistant to algal and moss growth making it ideal for paths and driveways as well as general hardscaping applications.

Spaggtoid: Geologically the occurrence of black volcanic granite is relatively rare in Southern England but it is more abundant in the North and Scotland. Materials were once worked near Buxton in Derbyshire for road surfacing, and are still quarried at a number of locations in the North East of England and Southern Scotland where they are known known as Whinstone.

Volcanic Black Granite is a natural product supplied in a moist condition, slight shade variations may occur.

This product option is supplied packed in safe and easy to handle weatherproof packs stacked on a wooden pallet. Packs are stretch wrapped onto the pallet for added protection and security.

Pallets are delivered by national couriers and off-loaded onto a level hard-standing using vehicle tail-lift and pallet truck. Our couriers do not offer a crane (Hiab) off-load facility.

Pallet deliveries by national couriers are not advised for locations with narrow or difficult access. Please advise during checkout or contact our office for advice if you have specific delivery requirements or concerns.

Failed deliveries due to problems with access which as not been pre-notified will be returned to our warehouse and charged for both outward and return delivery,

The immediate product wrapping, pallet stretch wrap and wooden pallet can all be recycled.
