Grain Shape: Rounded (Optimum shape for maximum free drainage and resisting compaction)

Coverage: When used as infill for artificial sports surfaces 12 x 20kg will cover 24Sqm when applied at 10kg/Sqm. A full pallet (50 x 20kg packs) will cover up to 100Sqm at a similar application rate.

Selected naturally rounded silica sand for artificial sports surfaces. This non-staining light coloured sand enhances the colour of synthetic turf, reflects sunlight, helping to reduce surface temperatures and brightens the surface for floodlit matches.

Designed and graded to provide maximum drainage and extended play life even in the most arduous conditions.

The sand is offered in convenient to store and handle 20kg packs, allowing private facilities and clubs to "top-up" and maintain areas of high wear between periods of planned maintenance.

Ensuring maximum playing availability, the closely graded characteristic of this sand has been engineered to achieve maximum permeability during the lifetime of the installation, and outperform other silica sands on the market.

This product option is supplied packed in safe and easy to handle weatherproof packs stacked on a wooden pallet. Packs are stretch wrapped onto the pallet for added protection and security.

Pallets are delivered by national couriers and off-loaded onto a level hard-standing using vehicle tail-lift and pallet truck. Our couriers do not offer a crane (Hiab) off-load facility.

Pallet deliveries by national couriers are not advised for locations with narrow or difficult access. Please advise during checkout or contact our office for advice if you have specific delivery requirements or concerns.

Failed deliveries due to problems with access which as not been pre-notified will be returned to our warehouse and charged for both outward and return delivery,

The immediate product wrapping, pallet stretch wrap and wooden pallet can all be recycled.

Safety of Consumer Products:
In line with recommendations issued by The Office of Product Safety and Standards, Specialist Aggregates have evaluated the geological source of its No.4 Sports Sand. The sand has also been tested by UK based Scanning Electron Microscopy to be NAD.
